The Saree Shopping Walk, Mumbai: Dadar and Matunga Saree findings
The Saree Shopping Walk takes us on a magical journey of the Saree universe of India. Led by festival curator Himanshu Verma, the walk covers various little known Saree shops in Dadar and Matunga areas, uncovering precious traditional Sarees amidst neighbourhoods bursting with Maharashtrian and South-Indian cultures.
Meeting Point: Plaza Theatre, Dadar, 10 am
Contribution: INR 2,000 per person (includes brunch, transport)

Saree Styling Jam
A flirtatious glimpse at how to experiment with draping styles and accesorisation, and make Saree wearing more fun, dynamic, and personal. Features talks, presentations and interactive modules on Saree styling by featured designers & stylists Ammisha Shah, Sonia Mehta and Swati Mukund.

Love Saree: Poems, saree love and the city
A poetic panel celebrating the moods of the Saree and Mumbai
Featuring multi-lingual readings by Anjali Purohit, Arundhati Subramanima, Barnali Ray Shukla, Neela Bhagwat & Smita Sahay.
